Cat with runny nose

My 7 yr old persian cat has always had a tendency for a runny nose. It lately got worse to the extent that it was completely blocked and the vet gave him antibiotics & corticosteroids. He is better now but his nose is still runny. What is the best way to mange his case?

well you did the right thing by taking him to the vets when things got worse.
It may just be that he is just a cat with a runny nose or it could be that he is allergic to something. It might be an idea to change his food for a while and see if his nose gets better.
A gentle wipe of the nose every day with a damp clean cloth or tissue will help to keep the nose clean and prevent it becoming blocked and possibly infected.
