Yesterday, i got a about 7 year old female calico cat (Princess) that has been spayed, neatured, and that is box trained but she wont use her litter box. Actually, since she has been here, she has not gone poop or pee at all. I checked every single place all around the house just to make sure she has not gone to the bathroom anywhere else and i didnt find any poop or pee anywhere at all. (not even in the litter box) What is wrong with her?

Hi this is not unusual for a new cat to the home. they may be feeling uneasy about their surroundings etc and a cat does need to feel happy and secure to use a litter tray.

Make sure the tray is their own and not shared with any other cats (if you have them), also make sure that it is placed not near their food and is in a quite place.

Please see my web page about this here for more info

I am sure that after a few days they will settle down and tart to use the tray. If not then they may be constipated please see my page about cat constipation here

best wishes Kate
