everytime my cat poops his anus comes out a little bit its very red and swollen. he is a munchkin cat, he doesn't seem to be in pain, poops are very smelly though. it takes anywhere between 10 minutes to a couple hours to go down. i've been to the emergency vet they said the next time it happens to put lube on it and push it back in and that is NOT AN OPTION. its extremely scary. i have called our normal vet and they say its nothing but its very "horror movieish" and i feel helpless, i've gotten very little information from professionals i've called and my own research has lead nowhere. i love my cat very much and don't know how to help him with this issue please help!

Hi what can i say. This sounds liek a birth defect in which case it will be there for life. if the vets don't think that there is any surgery for it then unfortunately you will have to decide whether or not you can live with the problem or not. If not then it may be kinder to find him another home.
Perhaps contact other owners of munchin cats to see if this is an issue with this breed. (due to tampering with cat breeds it may be a defect that has occurred, i do not know as i have no experience of the munchkin breed).
Sometimes our pets have disabilities that measn we have to do some unpleasant things to look after them, this is similar to our lives if we have to care for a disabled relative. Some of us are just better at coping with this some are not. it is just the way we are and you have to make that decision for yourself.
i wish you all the best and hope that you can find a way round this issue.
best wishes Kate
