Cats are fearful of each other

I have 3 indoor cats. 2 female 1 male. I just brought one of the females back form having a cyst removed. She had to spend the night. The other 2 are growling and hissing at her and even growling at me. Even my best buddy growled at me and would not let me pick her up. I wiped her off with a damp cloth except where they put some silver product on her head to help with the bleeding from the surgery. Please help our usually happy family.

this is a common problem in situations like this. you need to give your cats a few days apart to calm down and then to slowly re introduce them using the confinement method. this helps them, to build their confidence again in each other without the feat of attack. the method is described here
