Cats fighting after bath

I discovered fleas on my cats, gave them a bath and advantage flea med....a short time later my female attached my male - they are brother and sister that I have had since they were 3 weeks old and still on the bottle(they were found without a mother). I know that this is probably a scent problem but it's been 3 days. My female is walking around the house and keeps crying and wanting my attention while my male is in hiding. I have hhad to give him water and food because he wont come out. I read somewhere to put baby power on them or use a cat wipe on both - how do I help them??????

this is a common problem when something happens which cats find upsetting. It is quite strange as they blame their fear on each other rather than the actual cause.

What needs to happen is that they need to re build their confidence in each other again. the best way to do this is to use the safe method described here
