yes but they are not what you might call naturals. they don't generally like to get wet and so swimming is not really something they would do unless they fell into water and needed to get out.

If you check on you tube i'm sure there are videos of cats swimming but as i say cats don't really take to the water.

Was there a particular reason for you to ask this question by the way?

yes there are nazturally swimming cats i have 3 of them, they are turkish vans or vandeski, little girls pregnant so will have some for sale soon

Dear Kate,

I asked because our cat fell in the pool last night when he was making his evening rounds. How he got out was beyond me, but there he was, dripping wet, huddled close to the house.

I didn't think cats could swim and thought he must have been very lucky to be close enough to somehow get out. Glad to know they are able.
