Cats taking residence on my porch chairs

I have no cats but the neighbors cats have taken up residence on my cloths chairs. They are using it as a litter box and sleeping on them leaving cat hairs. What can I do before I become enemies to my neighbors?

try spraying them with a strong lemon fragrance, cats don't like the smell of citrus. the only other options is to turn the cushions up on their end or to cover them with pastic, i think you can buy clear plastic cheaply.

Apart from that cats it can be very difficult to persuade a cat not to sit somewhere, there are more expensive measures like scat mats but really they are for keeping your own cats off of the household furniture.

Your neighbours won't be able to anything about it either, so as you say it is not worth falling out with them over this.
