concern for my 2 month old male kitten

i adopted a 2 month old kitten from the humane society and ever since ive had him he has been having major diareah with blood in it that comes and goes and I have just noticed that he has what appears to be his bones that stick out of his butt and just today he has some type of leakage that smells really bad. I have no idea what it could be as the humane society advised that there was nothing wrong with him. What do you think it is?

I am sorry but i am not a vet and so could not and would not try and diagnose your kittens problem.

However if you are still very concerned and I must admit blood in his faeces should not be happening, i would take him to another vets for a second opinion. It never hurts to double check and it is better to be safe than sorry.

Hopefully it is something that can be cleared up with a little medication to stop the diarrhoea and help your kitten put some weight on.

Best wishes and I hope he is better soon
Kate
