crying cat

My cat ran away 2 months ago we recently found him. We brought him home now all he does is cry? What is wrong with him.

could be that he has the wander lust and wants to wander free. Is he neutered? If not then the crying and the wandering is a symptom of his natural urges.

Apart from that it is difficult to say why else he may be constantly crying if it was not something that he used to do. I always recommend that people take their cats to the vets if they display any behavior that cannot easy be diagnosed just in case there is something physically wrong that may be the cause.
