Dairy entry 5-3-09

Hello Kitty lovers everywhere,

I have been doing very good learning trust and allowing my human to get closer to me.
I have learned that it is really a great thing when you find yourself in the care of a human who loves you and who saved you from certain doom.
I know in my feline heart that me and my brother Billy are very lucky and very loved but trust just comes very hard for me.

Tonight I have had a set back and I am trying hard to over come it but its hard.
Mary "my human" said tonight that I have a ear infection.
She said she heard me cry out in my sleep last night and that I was pawing at my ear.
It was hurting but I didnt dare let on to my human or she would try to medicate me or worry about me and I didnt want that.
So, I tried hard to cope with it and be strong but I guess I cried out in my sleep and gave it away.

So, tonight Mary came toward me with a big soft towel (I wasnt sure what was about to happen but she looked tense so I got tense).
She wrapped the towel tightly around me (to keep me from clawing her) and called her daughter Robyn tocome help her as she applied medication into my ears.
She kept saying "Im sorry Lola hunny" but I didnt like it.
I fought hard to get free from that towel and that medicine but I guess it had to be done.
Once the medicine was applied, I was freed from the towel and under the bed I went.
Mary has come to the side of the bed a couple times and told me she loves me and to not lose trust in her but Im scared again.
I want to trust her again and I know she loves me but I still have so much FERAL in my blood that it is very hard yet.

I will need alittle time to myself to re-think this and trust again but it will come because I know she loves me very much and was doing what had to be done for me.
Maybe all you feline lovers out there can send alittle kitty prayer up that I wont be scared very long and will soon be back sleeping beside Marys keyboard.

Lola has got a sore ear
And mary is coming quite near
Now Mary does something foul
And wraps Lola up in a towel
And applies medication the dear.

Poor lola has not got a clue
What dear Mary is trying to do
So she puts up a fight
And thinks this is'nt right
What would you think if I did this to you

Mary did what had to be done
We all know medication ain't fun
Now Lolas ear will get better
And now Mary will let her
Free and BOY can she run.
