does my cat have fleas

My cat is scratching more than usual. Also there seems to be tiny little black "balls" on the chair where she has been lying. Does she have fleas?

sounds like it to me. the black balls are the flea dirts.

best to get her treated by the vet and to also treat your home at the same time to stop reinfestation. Please read my flea page under cat care.
