About Elsa

Sex: Female

Age: 10

How I found my cat: From a friend as a kitten

I have had Elsa since she was a tiny kitten. She is a very friendly little girl and likes to sleep on my chest with her face right next to mine.

Lives in: Bath, United Kingdom

Her favourite food is: Chicken

This is what she likes doing the best: Sneaking into my bedroom

Her funny habits are: She once caught a bat by doing a back flip and caught it in mid air.

Isn't it funny that cats like to sleep so close to our faces at night? One of my cats does this and you wake up with a heavy feeling on your chest and two shiny eyes looking into yours. Or if your unlucky a mouthful of fur.

My cat Byron can also catch things in mid air too. He is a great acrobat and can do the most amazing flips in the air and so high too. I couldn't understand how the birds were being caught in our garden until one day I caught Byron doing one of these great leaps. It was amazing.

No wonder the birds don’t stand a chance. Thank goodness we don’t have bats too or they would be in trouble too.

I love your cats face, she is very pretty and looks very serene too. You wouldn’t believe she was a ace bat catcher. But then again they all look like angels until they get in the garden and then they return to being Tigers at heart.

We sometimes forget that our domesticated cats are basically still wild at heart and retain all their natural instincts to hunt etc. These instincts never leave them, so watch out wild life, kitty is coming
