female cat issues

Our 2 yrs old female cat havn't ate her regular food for bout 3 days since we gave away a male kitten, that we brought home for a couple of days ago. We dont understand. Help!

Cats can become attached to other animals and when they go can suffer a sort of grieving period which may appear like a depression and one of the symptoms of depression is lack of appetite.

this is normal behavior and your cat should return to normal in a week or so.

However if she continues not to eat for some time or has other symptoms it may be bets to have her checked over by a vet just in case there is some underlining illness.
