Female cats in heat?

I have a female cat name Tink and she went into heat like a week ago and we took her to a place that had a male cat thinking that would help and to make kittens. Then it turns out that she wants nothing to do with the male cat even when she is in heat. What is the problem???????

well cats can be fussy too and if she does not feel comfortable with the male cat then this refusal is normal.

Often a male cat has to spend some time persuading a female cat to mate.
