Female Spayed cat has been missing 12 hrs

My female cat loves to go outside. I let her out on the week end and she runs off for a few hours but then comes back. It was so pretty yesterday when I got home from work I let her out at 6:00PM...I called and called for her off and on till I went to bed at 11:00PM and got up looking around the neighborhood for her at 5:00am until I went to work at 7:30am..will I ever see her again?

Some cats will from time to time will decide to take themselves off to survey there territory, especailly fi they don't go out too often or if there are new cats in the area. I wouldn't worry too much, as long as she is able to come home i'm sure she will.

Female spayed cat missing

My female spayed cat is missing for 48 hrs now. She loves to go outside, and I let her out in the night and shes always back in the morning. This time my sister has come to spend the holidays with us and her 4 yr old is a terror. My cat was so scared of the kid. Do you think she took off because of him? Im so scared and worried about her. I want my kitty back :(

I went on foot last evening all over the neighborhood calling her name for over an hour. Food I left out yesterday was untouched. She is only a little thing about 4lbs with rhinestone collar. I awoke this morning at 3:15 and for some reason opened the backdoor and she flew in. She had been gone 33hours. She was not hungary and was in perfect shape. Not dirty, nothing. I think someone had her in their home. I am not going to let her out anymore. Yea I am happy she is back.

I appreciate your comment. I don't know if I will let her out again if she comes back.I have worried so because she has always come back before as soon as I call her.
