Fiddler on the roof - A Cat Rescue Story

Hearing a kitten like meow occasionally one night, I ventured outside and discovered a kitten on my roof.

The next day the neighbors said they had been putting food up on the roof for the stranded kitty. I got a ladder, and befriended the kitten, and brought him down from the roof.

I took him in, keeping him separate from my two inside kitties. I placed an ad in the paper (it's free) for a lost kitty. No one called.

He was a beautiful classic tabby, and very sweet. I took him to the veterinarian for his shots, tests and surgery. He got a clean bill of health.

He chased the two inside kitties about, unafraid of them. We named him Fiddler, and found him a home quickly. He's a very happy kitty.
