food and water bowl for cat

where is the best place to put a cat's food and water bowl. Can they be placed together?

we've already decided where the cats going sleep (in my bedroom)
but we're stuck on where to place the food and water bowl.

Yes the food and water bowl should be together. They should not be placed anywhere near their litter tray or in a busy area where they may feel unsafe. When a cat eats because its head is down they need to feel that they can relax. So a corner of the kitchen is fine.
