Found Strange Snail like thing on my cat.

I was petting my full grown cat Tiger, I felt a lump of something. I pull it off seeing it was dirt. Well then I turn the lump around and there is this white thing with a little black you. The (dirt) lump was the size of a really small snail, and then the white thing would be in side this lump, with a small dot. or black eye if you want to say so. I want to now if my cat has worms or is sick or something is wrong with my cat. He is over weight, along with another one of my cats. I just want to now if tiger is going to be fine.

Hi
Well your cat had either picked up a baby snail in the garden in his fur or this is a tick. I can't think of anything else it could be from your description.

See my page about ticks for more information
https://www.our-happy-cat.com/removing-ticks.html

brush through your cats fur and make sure there are no other creatures caught in his fur.

If it was a tick, then as long as it was removed in tact then your cat should be fine.

Also make sure you have treated your cat for fleas and worms anyway it is always good idea to do this regularly anyway.

NO ANSWER?

So there is no answer to the question? I think most animal owners know the difference from a TICK and a "snail like" thing.....
I found them on my cat yesterday and today there's. more. He sometimes sleeps outside by a large tree.
Just our two cat?

Thanks
