Fragile cat skin

HI,

A friend at work has a 14 year-old cat. She has been having difficulty defecating. But the more pressing problem is that her skin is very friable. She got 2 tears in her skin and had to be sutured up. The vet did tests and it is not Cushings. Any other suggestions?

I'm afraid not. I have not had much experience with this sort of problem. Of course old cats skin may become generally more fragile with age.

I don't I know if there are any supplements that can be used to try and strengthen the skin. I use Only Natural Pet Store - Everything Natural for Dogs & Cats
for my cat suppliments. I don't know if you could find something there for him.

best wishes Kate
