Frank

I found Frank on a pet rescue website where he was living in a foster home. There seemed to be something special about this cat from just looking at his picture. I showed my wife his adoption listing, however, she wasn't so easily convinced. With Frank being a 1 1/2 year old feral cat (his ear had been tipped), my wife was understandably concerned about his ability to adapt to a more domestic lifestyle. Nonetheless, my wife decided to take the kids and pay Frank a visit at a local pet store one morning while I was away on a business trip. Well that was it all it took because she called me that evening to tell me that she thought Frank would make a wonderful addition to our home. We adopted Frank the following weekend and he's been a great companion ever since.
He's quite the hunter and has brought us a number of "gifts" such as frogs, moles, mice and chipmunks to name a few. In most cases, the animals were brought in while still alive and were safely returned unharmed to their natural environment. Frank is protective of his home and will growl like a dog at strangers who come to the door. While not a lap cat, he will occasionally hop up on the couch and purr contentedly next to one of us when the moment strikes him. Frank is a great cat and now very much a part of our family.
