Frustrated and want to get rid of pets

by chas
(north dakota)

I have 2 cats...1 of them (or both) has been pooping in my daughter's room...It's been going on for a few weeks now and sick of it...I don't know how to get him to stop and to be honest want to get rid of both of them...So I also have been looking to find a shelter for them and guess what there isn't one in my area so what am I to do? I also have 2 ferrets (in a cage)...At this point I want them all gone...any suggestions would be great...Thank you for ur time!

Normally chas I would make some suggestions as to hope to try and help your cat stop this behavior. However I sense from your question that i do think that it would be better if you did rehome your animals. Your frustration with them indicates that you have no real attachment to them (which is fine) and this frustration may actually be the cause of your cats behavior. they can sense other peoples feelings etc and it can make them feel nervous and unsettled.

Please contact these people for some advice on how you can rehome your pets
