fustrated cat owner

my five month old male kitten has several bm's a day. He uses his clean litter box most of the time but today he pooped 3 times in my daughter's room. When we first adopted him our one year old female cat was angry and pooped in my daughter's room. This was the female;s special place to be. Now the kitten is pooping in my daughter's room. I do have two litter boxes and I scoop them a couple of times a day.
