When I get close to my cat she likes to smack her head against mine, why does she do that?

Answer from Kate
This is a normal greeting from a cat as they have a scent gland on the top of their head and they are transferring their scent to you.

I love it when my cat does this to me, it's so sweet.

best wishes Kate
