Hi
well bruising after an operation is not unusual and sometimes it can take a while to heal.

My advice would be to keep an eye on her and to make sure she gets the best food you can provide for her and that she always has fresh water available. If you notice any other symptoms or if the blood in her stool does not go away in another week or so then yes your best option is to take her back to the vets for a check up.

if you re ever concerned about your cats health the vets is really your best option as it will not only provide the best care for your cat but will also help to put your mind at rest.

best wishes kate
