House cats escaped outside for the first time

3 of my house cats went outside unexpectatly and when I realized it was about an hour or two later and called them immediatley they all came back looking fine seems they only been in backyard. My male cat is now hiding under chair acting strange and hissing at the other cat. Should I be concerned?

No I wouldn't worry too much. It is probably because the cats smell different after being outside or it could be all the excitement of the adventure.

they should settle down in a day or two.

If not then take the cats through a period of re introduction as described here
