A TRUE BEAUTY....

A TRUE BEAUTY....

Yesterday we've adopted a gorgeous 5 year old cat. We absolutely adore her. when we first bought her into our home, she allowed us to pick her up and pet her. Now she will not allow us to get close enough to do so...please tell me that she will at some point allow us to do so. She will not eat out of our hands as suggested by a friend. What could we do to help her get use to the home and our family? Thanks you! She is sprayed and declawed but the hissing and attempt to bite is what we are afraid of.

She is gorgeous.
The rick s to allow her to come to you on her terms and time frame. this will build a very strong and confident bond between you all.

I have written a web page about how to bond with a cat which will give you more details. Make sure everyone in the family follow the same process. here is the page

be patient she will eventually learn to trust you and become a part of the family.

best wishes Kate
