how to get my cat un afraid of another cat

I don't want my Gracie to be terrifed and stay under the bed in the quest room all the time because there is this new 1 yo cat (more like kitten) here. The hyperactivity of the kitten scares my Gracie.

Hi well its all about confidence, you need to be able to build her confidence up so that she is not so afraid.

I don't know how you introduced them but using the confinement method helps them build their confidence in a safe environment. it take a little while and some patience but it can help in the long run. However your cat if she is particularly timid anyway may always be a cat who shies away, this is not something to be overly worried about, we are all different.
