i just got a cat from a shelter and now he is limping really really badly

what should i do? the shelter is closed now

Don't worry, keep him comfortable over night in a confined room with soft bedding to sleep on and take him to the vets in the morning.

This sort of injury should be ok until then. of course the lkess walking around he tries to do the better, so as i say keep him in a small room.
