i need help with my beloved mancoon

shadow marie is 12 and has been a out door cat. She seemed fine 2 weeks ago now she has lost alot of weight.she has some missing hair down her neck line.she is under weight but she is giving off a odor where you want to puke.she has had her feline shots .now tonight she ate chipped ham and alot but when she eats theres a grinding.i need some answer. im waiting for her maybe to die.i dont know i have not seen her move her bowels or pee. but this odar is like death and its coming from her fur and possible her behind. i just need a answer of what this smell could be and the grinding when she eats.she is so thin,you can only feel bones we love her she has been with us 12 years god bless you.

You need to take her to the vets as soon as possible. Do not wait. The problem may be one that can be easily treated but if left will as you say kill her.

It doesn't sound good. She may have many issues which need treating as at 12 years of age it is possible that there could be several different things wrong at once. She may have bad teeth which is causing the grinding. She may have fallen and cracked her jaw bone. It sounds like she has infections and this is what the smell is.

Please do not wait any longer seek treatment for your cat from a vet as soon as possible.
