IM WORRIED ABOUT MY CAT JACK??


MY CAT JACK WONT LEAVE MY ROOM, HE STQAYS IN THERE ALL DAY AND NIGHT. WERE IN WINTERR WOULD THAT BE THE CASE IVE HERD CATS HATE COLD? I THINK I TOLD U MY OTHER CAT DISAPEARED THATS JACKS MUM WOULD HE BE UPSET ABOUT THAT? HES NEARLY 2YRS OLD. HE EATS WEL USES HIS KITTY LITTER PROPERLY EVERY, BUT WONT GO OUTSIDE. WOULD U HAVE ANY ADFVICE ON WHY HES LIKE THIS? REGARDS MONICA DOWNUNDER. :-]

yes it could be quite easily be because he is missing the other cat. I wrote a article about cats grieving whether this is because a cat dies or goes missing the remaining cat will experience a sense of loss and this is natural and normal but should only be a temporary situation.

If the situation goes on for too long or if the cat stops eating or shows others signs of distress then my advice would be to take them to the vets in case their is something physically wrong.

However give him some time and hopefully he will return to normal.

hi as we spoke many months ago about my jack living in my room and not wanting 2 go out side, well hes back 2 being a cat, hes going out side now luvs it, it did take him awhile 2 gieve, but hes great now, he luvs being on his own now gets spoiled and luvs his cuddles. ive got 3 dogs and jack luvs them. so ty again as u were right time and loving is all he needed. take care monica.
