Is It ok to wipe kittens behind

Hello, I was wondering, is it smart to wipe my 4 month old kittens bum after he poops? It`s more for me than for him. I really enjoy having him on my lap quite a lot and sometimes, (especially right after he pooped)when he climbs onto my head, I feel that his bum smells. What I do is wipe his bum gently with a soft tissue that I wet with warm water. Is that bad for him?

no this is fine. Hopefully as he gets older he will become better at keeping himself clean and you wont have to do it any more.

Just use warm water and a tissue, no chemicals or scented products.
