is my new cat trying to get rid of my old cat???

my new cat bitty has been trying to beat up my old cat katie i have gotten on to her alot because of this problem is she just trying to be playful or is she trying to get rid of things i pay a little bit of atention ps she is also only 5 months .

well it is not uncommon for a younger cat to try and claim a territory but it is also common for them to just to try and make sure that another cat knows they are the boss.

However as your cat is so young it may also be just high-spirits and games.

The thing is at 5 months old the kitten needs to me spayed as this will also help to calm her down and make her less territorial.

So the answer to your question is yes she may be trying to claim the territory for herself but equally she may be playing. It is impossible to say, but definitely have her spayed soon, to reduce any such conflicts which can arise from this age on.
