It's a Cats nature

by Mike O'Brien
(Christchurch New Zealand)

It's a Cats nature to hunt for it's prey
They don't go to shops and queue all day
It's a Cats nature to lick themselves clean
They don't need a shower or washing machine
It's a Cats nature to roam where they please
They dont need a car and a whole bunch of keys
It's the Cats nature to claim the best chair
They don't need permission, because they don't care
It's a Cats nature to malt wherever they choose
They don't need salons for expesive hairdos
It's a Cats nature to scatter trash on the floor
They don't need to clean up, thats what humans are for
It's a Cats nature to own the house and be very content
They don't need to evict us because--WE PAY THE RENT.

This is a really cute poem. It sounds just like my cat.
