Ivan
I rescued Ivan from my local RSPCA centre about 5 years ago. He was a stray. One day I opened the door to a lady who asked me if the large grey tom sitting on my front lawn belonged to me. The lady was nearly in tears and asked me where I had got him. She told me that she was convinced that he was her beloved lost cat Lewis who had run away after particlular loud fireworks one night. She showed me a picture and he did look very similar.
Also he had the same mannerisms as her cat. She was not looking to have him back but was so pleased to see he was alive and well and living a life of luxury.
Ivan/Lewis's former owner lives miles away from me and as I do not live on a major road it was an amazing coincidence that she spotted him.
