Jazzy - A quilt cat
(USA)
Jazzy Our Cat
Jasmine or Jazzy came to live with me two years ago when my father suffered a mild stroke and broke his hip which landed him in a nursing home. She was one of eight kittens born of three mothers living in the wilds of Grand Mesa in Western Colorado. (My dad lived like a hermit in a small trailer.)
She quickly asserted herself and chose me as her "person" and is one of my "Quilting Cats". One of her favorite places for sleeping is any quilt on my quilting machine frame.

My cats currently are quilt fans too. In this cold weather they are good at finding the warmest place possible and my bed quilts seem to be the warmest. The trouble is I do have to be careful that I don’t accidently sit on them if they are snuggled underneath.
Jazzy is a great name for a cat, I don’t think I have ever come across another Jazzy before.
Its good to know that she was rescued from a life of being a feral out in the wilds. I’m sure her little life would not have been very long, with the wild animals and cold to contend with. She now has a great home with someone who makes quilts and what could any cat ask for, somewhere where there will always be somewhere warm and comfy to sit.
