Jealous cat

Why does my cat click at my other cat to warn him away when he is having a cuddle from me?

Answer by Kate
Hi, well it could be either a sign of jeleousy ot even excitement. Usually the clicking sound is associated with cats watching birds, it is a jaw movement associated with grabbing the bird by the throat.

I must admit it is rather unusal for a cat to do it when you give your cat a cuddle. or it could just be coicidence. i.e he is not actually doing it at the cat but could be thinking about bird hunting etc, which I have seen before.

best wishes Kate
