What a sad, yet beautiful story.
Only us cat people know these feelings.
As I sat here reading your story, it took me back to 2007 when my black and white Tuxedo "BABY" finally crossed the bridge after 6 weeks of suffering and a serious mis-diagnosis from a vet that contributed in his un-timely death at only 3 years old.
So Patricia, I can relate and bless your heart for sharing your touching story as the death of a faithful pet touches us all even if we dont know the pet personally.
One day you will get another cat who will fill your days with love and laughter again but the memories of your Jellicle will remain in your heart eternally as does the memories of my Baby and Callie.
