Just Want To Love Her

by JoJean Couch

I have adopted a hoarder cat from the SPCA about a month ago. She is afraid of me and only stays under my bed, except to eat and use her box (which she only uses at night when I am asleep). How do I make her more comfortable with me and not so afraid? When she comes out I can softly talk to her, but not move or she will run back under the bed.

Hi
Yes it will take some time for this cat o learn to relax around you and feel more at home but this s understandable.

I have a page about how to bond with a new cat and to try and make them feel more at home. here is the page

best wishes Kate
