kitten acting odd after trip way

About a week ago my cat started.acting really weird we went out of town for 2 days and had a friend watch her and our other new kitten we came home and the kitten in question has what looks like a scrape on her nose she meows lower now she lays on us a lot more seems nervous drinks a crazy amount of water and only eats canned food she always ate hard food before and she hides now and shakes and seems somewhat weak and licks herslef now way more than before please help if you can

Sounds to me like she may have been in a fight with another cat and has gotten a scratch on her nose.

her behavior may be down to just feeling a little more nervous because of it or the scratch may be infected but you would notice if it was as it would look horrible and be weeping etc.

i would give her a few days to settle back down into her normal routine now you are back. Give her lots of things to keep her stimulated and amused this will help to distract her from any anxieties she may have.

if you have another kitten then he may be the cause of he r nervousness, try to interact with them both at the same time so that they can get used to being with each other and not afraid.

If you are still concerned after a week or so then it is always best to have her checked by a vet in case there is some underlying illness.
