Kitten and mice

hi i have a kitten who is 6 months old she is a girl. my question is when she sees mice in my garden through the window she starts jumping and getting excited about it but as soon as i let her out of the house she wants to come back inside and if there are mice outside while she is she just sits there watching them and waiting to come inside what should i do can you please let me know.

well there is nothing to do. cats have a instinct to chase mice etc and this makes them excited but often with some cats its the chase which is exciting and not the actually catching so, if your cats chooses to come inside rather than chase the mice well thats her choice.

She may change over time, she is still rather young and may not be sure what to do, but instinct will teach her over time.
