Kitten twitches

Why would my kitten, she's about 6 months old, start shaking, almost like she's twitching, as soon as she closes her eyes. It's never when her eyes are awake and i've heard she's dreaming but it happens the minute she closes her eyes. Sometimes it just like a paw twitching and sometimes it's her whole body. Why do you think this happens?

yes it does sound like dream twitches to me. i think some cats are just more prone to them. My cat does this also and it is nothing to worry about as they should only last a few seconds and not be continuous.

Make sure she does not have fleas as well sometimes this can cause twitching too even while asleep.
