kitty behaviour?

why does my kittens tail lift up when i scratch near it? i am very confused...

Answer by Kate
hi
this is just a reflex, all cats do this. I don't think you need to worry avout it at all. cats just seem to enjoy a little rub and tickle along the back thats all.

best wishes Kate

tail up

I agree with Kate. I've had cats for years n - All mine have done this, usually arching their back too. They like to bump heads with you, rub against you, and yes, they lift their tails up too. Its all part of their communication with you, affection to you. Normal and friendly, that's all. Sounds like a happy Kitty
