Kitty,s Cat Page

Kitty was adopted at nine-weeks of age and is a Maine Coon mix. She has a big bushy tail and is the most inquisitive people-loving cat I have ever owned. She loves being around people and involves herself in all their activities. She loves watching us blow bubbles for her while she chases them. She loves sitting on her cat tree and watching the backyard birds and loves drinking water out of her water fountain.

I used to have a Maine coon cat called Tigger. He was ginger with a white bob and feet and was the gentlest cat I have ever known. As you know Maine coon cats are bigger than normal cats and so I always found it funny just how soppy he could be rather than a big bully which he could easily have decided to be.

My little sister used to walk around the house with him wrapped around her neck. It used to be a running joke in our house that if you wanted to know where the cat was to check my sisters neck. A local artist even drew a cartoon picture of her with the cat around her neck like a fur collar.

Except of course he had more white on his chest and feet. But oh so pretty. I do think they are one of the nicest breeds to have with children too, as they do seem so gentle, in fact they are known as the gentle giants of the domestic cat world.
