Litter box sleeping.

We just got new litter boxes. Now our cat is sleeping in boxes on top the litter. Does this mean something?

Hi no this does not have any specific meaning. Some like to sleep there because it is the place that most smells of them and so is comforting to them. Often when I visit cats in the animal shelters you see cats sleeping in their litter.

Hopefully it is a short lived habit and once they feel happier generally in their home they will choose not to use the litter tray as their bed.
