Loose Uncontrollable Stools

by Mike

We were told that having our cat spayed would solve the high estrogen issue she was having before causing her to have uncontollable loose stools everywhere. Not in the liter box. She is an indoor cat and her 3 other cat siblings do not have this issue.

Any ideas other than she might have a parasite. The cycle is every six months on cue. Spayed or not spayed.

Hi well I am not a vet and have not come across this diagnosis before so I find it difficult to comment on.

It may be that she has a sensitive stomach and needs special food or there may be some other digestive problem but unfortunately only a vet will be able to test for this.

I do have two pages about cat diarrhoea which you may find of further help.

Here is the first page

Hi Kate,

Thank you for your suggested sites for me to review. I do think they were most helpful. Unsure if our cat has the symptoms that would warrent using Plantaeris, however it appears it would be a good step to take.

Regards
Mike
