PIPER

My cat has a has a lump under her jaw and it sits more towards the right. I noticed it a few days ago and she seem to be not

herself. she realy hasn't been eating like she normaly does and now we notice her meow sounds different almost forced. Time to time we have to realy look for her and find her hidding. When touching she didn't seem to even notice me messing with. She even began to purr.....Any ideas?

Answer by Kate
A lump would suggest either an infected/enlarged gland, perhaps an infection in a tooth or a growth of some sort.

Sorry I cannot be more specific but unfortnately I am not a vet and would not like to try and give a diagnosis.

The quicker you can get her to the vets the better. Fingers crossed it can be sorted out easily and quickly for her.

best wishes Kate

She looks like a very sweet cat. i love white bibs and noses.

could be infected/enlarged gland but only a vet would know for sure. Have the same problem with one of my baby kitties. If you find out what it is email me slcutahguy69@yahoo.com thanks hope your cat makes it.
