male cat missing

I have a 1 year old male cat, who has been neutered. Is there a possiblility he is out looking for a female? I heared they still look for females even though they are fixed. Also, could he find his way back home?? We are just devastated!!!!!!!!!!!

No this is unlikely as they no longer have the hormonal drive for this. however cats will always remain to some extent territorial and this is often what cats are up to when they go a wandering.

cats can go missing for days and in some cases weeks and will usually return home if they are able to. however there occasions where they may get locked in shed etc, i know this has happened to my own cats.

Try no to to worry to much. my sister cast went missing for two weeks and then just turned up so don't give up hope.
