It is not always easy deciding on a name for your new cat. I know from personal experience I have changed my cats name several times during the first few weeks of having them.  However a few tips for deciding on what to call your cat are:

• Think about your male cat’s personality; is he butch and fearless or a little soppy and timid?
• Does he have any distinguishing marks?  Such a splodge on his nose or a white diamond shape on his back?
• Does e have any unusual behaviour such as drinking cold tea or hopping from one foot to the other all of the time.

Any of these little traits could help you to find the right male cat names. Take your time, don’t forget you and your cat have to live with this name for a very long time.
