Male cat Rectal discharge urinated on bed

5 year old male cat had history of worms several months back. He was diagnosed and treated. I have been paronoid ever since always taking a quick look at the rectum or any reacurrimg signs. I lifted his tail he then expelled 2 to 3 drops of white liquidy discharge that was quite smelly like the male spray smell. I haven't been keeping up his littler box quite as often as should and he urinated on the bed recently. Could this be a sign of a urinary tract infection in my male cat?

Thankyou

Hi
yes it does sound like it could be an infection of some sort in that area. often white pus is a sign of infection. this may have been caused by the worms in the past.

if the problem persists then i think you would be better off taking him back to the vets for another check up just in case the worm infection is back or has caused other problems.

i hope he is better soon

best wishes Kate
