moews every time she jumps down

It it unusual for a cat to meow everytime it jumps down off of something. She does not appear to be hurt and being a first time cat owner I thought this was just a cat thing. I've talked to other people and their cats don't do this.

well it could simply be a quirk with your cat. One of my cats makes a little sound when they jump down from anywhere. Not a meow but a sort of squeak.

All you can do is to check her all over to see if she cries in pain if you squeeze her limbs or her body etc. If any other symptoms show themselves , like not eating etc then your only option would be to have her checked out by a vet. But if she seems fine in every other way then perhaps it is just a little involuntary noise she makes when she jumps.
